Is Preparation Necessary For A Bed Bug Treatment Appointment?

In low infestations no major prep is required. When an infestation is low the only things you should do is, strip your bed, pick up laundry from the floor, and remove items on top of sofas so we can treat them. Call us so we can evaluate if you qualify for a low prep solution.

Bed Bug Preparation: Do not empty closets, do not empty dressers, do not throw away furniture. If you do wash clothing it’s not the water temperature that matters, its the drying temp. Dry clothing on the hottest temp possible, this will kill all life stages of bed bugs. You can even heat clean clothing without washing them.

Rodent And Other Insect Preparation: To prepare for rodent and other insect extermination treatments, it is crucial to empty all kitchen cabinets and drawers prior to the technicians’ arrival.

Will My Furniture And Carpet Get Damaged During The Treatment?

Before any treatment is rendered, the technicians will perform what is known as a spot test. This test entails applying a small amount of pesticide to a patch of carpet that is hidden from view. If the test reveals damage an alternative treatment will be utilized. However, the products that we utilize have been pre-tested and proven to be safe on all different types of fabrics and carpet fibers.

How Many Treatments Are Required For The Full Eradication Of A Bed Bug Infestation?

To get completely eradicate a bed bug infestation, in mild to moderate cases, only two treatments are required – the initial treatment and a follow-up treatment. These are required to eradicate the adults, nymphs or babies and eggs. More severe cases may require additional treatments.

Depending on your availability, we can dispatch a technician out to your home within an hour of your call.

What Are Your Warranty Options?

We offer 30, 60 and 90-day & 365 day warranties. A technician will explain these warranty options to you when he/she arrives to your home.

Is Your Work Guaranteed?

We offer a 100% customer satisfaction. So, if at any time a customer is not satisfied with our work, we will find work to find a solution. Our goal is to make sure the customer is fully satisfied with our performance. We will not stop until we make the dissatisfied customer happy. If we cannot compromise, we will give the customer a full refund.

How Long Should I Expect For The Treatment To Take?

Bed bug treatments typically take anywhere between one to three hours. We request that all members of the home and pets evacuate the home for at least six hours, so our technicians can do their job. All children four years and under with respiratory problems, such as asthma, and adults with COPD must evacuate the home for 24 hours.

How Do You Contact Me When The Treatment Is Complete Or Any Problems That May Arise?

Our technicians stay in contact with the customer throughout the treatment process. If any problems arise during this process, a technician will contact you via phone ASAP. The technician will discuss the security of your home – locking up after the job is complete – upon arrival.

Am I Provided A Copy Of The Work Order?

Yes, once the job is complete.  Phone and in-person payments are accepted.

How Do You Perform A Bed Bug Inspection?

A technician will arrive to your home to perform the bed bug inspection. Upon arrival and introductions, the technician will begin inspecting your home. If you requested a bed bug sniffing dog to be in attendance, the technician and canine will perform the full inspection.

Once the inspection is complete, the technician will go over the treatment options. The technician will also explain the preparation process – things that you will need to do to prepare for the treatment – at this time.

How Effective Are Inspections Performed By Bed Bug Sniffing Dogs?

The canine’s nose is extremely powerful, so it can easily detect the bed bug odors. Studies have revealed that bed bug sniffing dogs are very effective. And, when combining this with the visual inspection, the accuracy is 98 percent.
